About the Role

We are currently looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to bolster our manufacturing output across several locations. Your primary focus will be to ensure equipment remains reliable, reduce production interruptions, and assist with daily floor operations through proactive repairs, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.

The ideal team member will possess a strong mechanical foundation, proficiency in electrical diagnostics, and practical experience with industrial machinery. Depending on your assigned site, you will interact with a variety of systems including CNC units, presses, automation, PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, compressors, conveyors, cold forming tools, and other production hardware.

Core Responsibilities
  • Execute preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks on all production machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
  • Respond quickly to equipment failures to help maintain steady production flow and minimize downtime.
  • Service and troubleshoot stamping, trim, and forging presses, CNC units, saws, washers, compressors, and automated lines.
  • Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on PLC-based systems.
  • Maintain and repair cold forming, thread rolling, and National Machinery hardware.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for eddy current inspection systems.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to identify potential operational or mechanical failures.
  • Carry out scheduled lubrication and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Support press setup processes to help increase overall production efficiency and reduce changeover times.
  • Operate man lifts and forklifts as required for maintenance tasks.
  • Complete general facility and building maintenance duties.
  • Manage the organization of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for work orders, repairs, and maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production leadership to streamline repairs and protect uptime.
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist with wastewater management tasks following appropriate training.
  • Adhere to all established quality, environmental, and safety protocols.
  • Follow safe electrical work practices and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Utilize proper PPE and ensure your workspace remains clean and organized.
  • Complete other maintenance-related tasks as requested.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in an industrial manufacturing maintenance role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to effectively repair and troubleshoot factory equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical repair and diagnostic procedures.
  • Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret various technical schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience with industrial hardware such as CNC machines, presses, compressors, and automation.
  • Experience with National Machinery, cold forming, or thread rolling equipment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with eddy current inspection technology is a plus.
  • Welding skills, including ARC or MIG, are considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with torch cutting is a plus.
  • Ability to utilize hand tools and maintenance equipment with precision.
  • Basic computer literacy for completing digital maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining quality standards and workplace safety.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001, IATF 16949, or similar quality systems is a plus.

  • Ability to remain on your feet and walk for long durations.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, reach, twist, kneel, and climb to access machinery.
  • Ability to navigate confined or difficult spaces during equipment repairs.
