Project Overview:
Our client is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to provide critical support to their internal team. This role requires a highly skilled fund accounting professional with expertise in private equity real estate funds who can balance both hands-on accounting responsibilities and team leadership.
The ideal consultant will have deep experience with trial balances, GAAP, financial statements, financial reporting, NAV packages, and investor reporting. In addition, this person should bring a strong background in process improvement and workflow optimization, helping to streamline operations and enhance accuracy. Beyond technical expertise, this role requires proven leadership experience—including managing junior team members, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of work, and providing guidance on best practices.
The right candidate will thrive in a dual capacity: executing accounting tasks directly while also leading and mentoring the team.
- Balance hands-on accounting tasks with team leadership and mentorship.

- Experience preparing NAV packages and financial reports.
- Proven track record in process improvement and workflow optimization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities: managing junior staff, reviewing work for accuracy, and mentoring team members.
- Comfortable in both hands-on accounting execution and leadership oversight.
