Associate Assembler - 2nd Shift

Manufacturing Assembly Position

Purpose:

Perform assembly, packaging, shipping functions, and operate machines and equipment to fabricate parts for assembly, and sub-assembly of parts. Complete required paperwork. This is an on-site role in Utica, NY with second shift hours of 3:10pm-11:40pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing assembly, sub-assembly, inspection, and packaging duties to assemble, ship select medical devices following companies' policies and procedures.
• Operate machine set up by another with defined adjustments.
• Load/Unload parts and cut/trim parts using established procedures/tools.
• Sustain and maintain 5s standards.
• Inspect parts - visual and using basic gauges.
• Complete required paperwork to include preparing labels, maintaining production logs, and recording process results.

Qualifications:

• Preferred 1 year manufacturing experience
• Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours at a time
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds

This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship.

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate for this position is $16/hour. The hourly pay rate is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
