Nurse America is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse with Oncology experience for a night-shift travel assignment
. This role supports a diverse adult patient population across multiple medical specialties in an inpatient acute care setting.

Oncology experience is REQUIRED

• Unit Coverage: Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, General Medicine

• Floating: Yes (required)

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

• EMR: EPIC (required)

• Common Diagnoses:

  • Cancer diagnoses

  • Oncology & Hematology

  • ESRD

  • Diabetes

  • GI conditions

  • Abdominal pain

  • Dermatology & General Medicine

• Equipment &
  
  Skills:

  • IV pumps

  • NG tubes

  • Chest tubes

  • Specialty beds (including sand beds)

  • Required drips/medications:
    Heparin, Lasix, Chemotherapy

• Active NY RN License (must be verifiable via NURSYS)

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience

• Oncology experience (required)

• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS

• EPIC EMR experience

• Two (2) recent Med/Surg Charge RN or Nurse Manager references

• Skills checklist matching specialty

• Valid driver s license with matching address

• RTO must be submitted at time of submission

• Travel RNs: Must live 75+ miles from assignment location

• Local RNs accepted (local rate applies if within 75 miles)

• Hourly Rate: $62.78/hr

• Weekly Pay (36 hrs): Up to $2400/week

• Overtime:

  • Daily OT after 24 hours

  • Weekly OT after 48 hours

  • OT paid per contract multiplier

• Specialized Oncology Med/Surg experience

• Consistent night schedule
