Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care

• Pay Rate: $62.00 $ 68.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

• Work in the IMCU unit caring for adult patients (18 years Adults)
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Resp: COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post op
• Operate specialty equipment including Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo
• Manage patients on vents: chronic vents unable to wean (RT to assist)
• Float as required within the facility
• Work within a 64-bed unit, including 15 designated Neuro beds

• Active NY RN License required (NURSYS Report verification required; ALL RN licenses must be verified and ACTIVE)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU required (must be documented on resume)
• Travel nursing experience required (must be documented on resume)
• EMR experience required: EPIC

• Proficiency with specialty equipment:
  Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo
• Experience with chronic ventilator patients (unable to wean)
• Skills Checklist matching specialty required at time of submission

• Will take local candidates Local rates apply (less than 75 miles)
• Up-to-date resume must include 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU and document travel experience

• NURSYS Report with active NY License and ALL RN licenses must be submitted
• RTO (Requested Time Off) MUST be included at time of submission
