Registered Nurse – Infusion

Outpatient Infusion Nurse

Provide specialized outpatient infusion nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on chemotherapy and other infusion therapies. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols while delivering safe and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and other infusion therapies according to prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions, promptly addressing any adverse reactions.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health systems such as EPIC.
• Maintain competency in operating infusion equipment, including Alaris pumps and elastomeric devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Comply with safety standards and floating requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least one year of outpatient infusion experience.
• Certify in BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy Administration.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometers, and infusion pumps.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently in a clinical setting.
• Experience with common diagnoses such as oncology, neuro, anemia, and GI conditions.
