Registered Nurse – ICU

$2288.88/week –

Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing to adult patients in a high-acuity intensive care unit setting. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through advanced clinical skills and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, including those requiring CRRT and Prismaflex devices.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions aligned with ICU protocols.
• Operate and manage specialized equipment such as IABP, ICP monitors, and ventilators.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately in the EMR system.
• Respond quickly to patient emergencies, including hemodynamic instability and respiratory failure.

Qualifications:

• Hold active RN licenses, including a valid New York State license.
• Possess 2+ years of ICU experience with current documentation of travel ICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU-specific skills, including CRRT and Prismaflex management.
• Maintain current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Be willing to float across all ICU units as needed, excluding Behavioral and ER units.
