Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

$2151.55/week –

Job Summary:

Provide specialized care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit, focusing on post-operative recovery and management of various medical conditions. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress and interventions thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state registration.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical units.
• Certification in BLS and NIHSS required; NIH may be obtained prior to start.
• Demonstrate proficiency with IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Ability to float between units and adapt to diverse patient needs.
• Valid driver’s license with current address matching demographic requirements.
