Registered Nurse
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients, families and caregivers in the Medical Group. The Registered Nurse promotes, assists and advocates for the patient and families health by completing the nursing process, in support of the patient centered approach and delivery model of care, and is an active care team member. Responsible for collaborating with physicians, providers and multidisciplinary care team members.
A Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, promoting and evaluating quality patient care. Nursing shall perform in accordance with the standards outlined for Registered Nurses in the NYS Education Law, NYS Office of the Professions, by the State Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, and ANA Standards of Care. A Registered Nurse provides teaching and health promotion to patients and families.
A Registered Nurse will follow the mission, vision, I-CARE values, policies and procedures of Mohawk Valley Health System.

Education/Experience Requirements Preferred:

Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
