Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Build Innovative Industrial Equipment. Power Manufacturing Excellence.

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician who enjoys building, wiring, troubleshooting, and bringing complex industrial equipment to life? This is a hands‑on manufacturing environment where no two projects are exactly alike. Play a critical role in assembling, testing, and maintaining custom capital equipment used in demanding industrial applications. You'll work alongside skilled manufacturing professionals to ensure every system meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting industrial electrical systems throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build electrical control systems from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Complete point‑to‑point wiring and install electrical and electro‑mechanical components.
  • Install and route rigid and flexible conduit, electrical panels, controls, sensors, and related equipment.
  • Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and quality inspections to verify equipment performance.
  • Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including valves, regulators, pumps, and cylinders.
  • Support equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, modifications, and commissioning.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other industrial equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance documentation.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and ISO standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of experience building and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret:
    • Electrical schematics
    • Wiring diagrams
    • Blueprints
    • Mechanical drawings
    • Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Electrical circuits
    • Industrial control systems
    • Grounding and electrical safety
    • Electrical testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience using precision hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose equipment issues.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning manufacturing software systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
