New Job Search Resource
The Central Adirondack Association and LivingADK has launched a comprehensive regional hiring tool for businesses along the Route 28 corridor into the Adirondacks.
The scope is from Boonville (Lewis County) through Forestport (Oneida County), through Town of Webb (Herkimer County) and into Inlet (Hamilton County). It is completely free for both job seekers and employers to use, and streamlined for maximum ease of use.
Targeted job seekers are people living around a 35-40 minute commuting distance along the Route 28 corridor.
They will also be adding the summer commuter bus route to the site as well, and plan to add listings of workforce housing rentals available in the area.
"Our goal is to provide job seekers looking for employment in the Western Central Adirondacks a one stop shop in their job seeking process," says LivingADK Community Development Specialist Daniel Kiefer-Bach. "Job seekers can go to and create a quick profile, they can even upload info from an existing Linked In or Google account, making the signup even easier."
"The more traffic and usage we can create, the better we can serve job seekers looking for an amazing job in the serenity and beauty of the Western Central Adirondacks," Dan says. "If you have to commute 35-40 minutes to work, why not commute up into some of the most beautiful forested lands in the North Eastern US? We have full time, part time, seasonal, year round and every type of job in between."
(If this job is in fact in your jurisdiction, then you may be using a Proxy or VPN to access this site, and to progress further, you should change your connectivity to another mobile device or PC).
