Shuttle Driver - UIC Real Estate

Overview

UIC Lands & Real Estate seeks a Shuttle Driver to operate a vehicle to transport passengers and assist in the cleanup of UIC lands.

Essential Functions:

• Pickup and drop off passengers in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with students and Real Estate General Manager.
• Assist with coordination and cleanup of UIC facilities and lands.
• Record attendance and ensure timesheets are submitted weekly.
• Maintain company vehicle and ensure timely maintenance.
• Additional job duties as assigned.

• Strong interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Must be able to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Minimum Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Alaska Driver's License and three (3) year clean driving record. Employee must follow all Authorized Driver Policy Procedures regarding approved vehicle usage.
• Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Ability to pass a Non-DOT pre-employment drug screening, and must follow all Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing program requirements.

Physical Demands:

• Lift/push/pull 70lbs to 120lbs.
