Job Description
The position of EU Buyer Packaging Materials sits comfortably in the Procurement Organization which is on the Journey to World Class. An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow, and develop. As a Buyer, you will be asked to deliver value through the most competitive cost & cash supply base whilst delivering non-negotiable excellence in service & quality. You’ll play a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering financial targets whilst maintaining service & quality.
- Driving sustainability initiatives and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Supporting the development of sourcing strategies with the Global Strategic Sourcing Team.
- Driving strategy execution and project delivery, including implementation of tenders, new suppliers, new materials/artworks, new specifications, etc.
We are looking for a team player with a drive for excellence who holds themselves accountable and embraces responsibility. Experience with implementing value-added projects and a solid understanding of your own added value is important. Here are our desired qualifications:
- At least three years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- An excellent track record of delivering complex projects and service improvement activities.
- Successful experience of leading cross-functional teams that focus on the lowest total cost of ownership.
- Ability to work under pressure with a high level of stress resistance.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- The ability to thrive with ambiguity and change.
