Role Overview

Transaction Processing Officer Securities – supports complex securities transactions across London and Utrecht, ensuring accurate pre-trade processes and aftercare. Works in a team of 5 and handles new issues, bond and equity listings, private placements, reimbursements and lifecycle events. Must be fluent in Dutch (spoken and written); no sponsorship.

• Execute transaction processes and controls following procedures, instructions and policies, maintaining quality and operational discipline.
• Escalate bottlenecks, barriers or knowledge gaps to ensure transactions progress with appropriate support.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication and reliable execution across all deals.
• Process and support complex transactions: new issues, bond and equity listings, private placements, reimbursements and aftercare across different markets.
• Investigate and respond to queries from internal business groups, agents, custodians, brokers, external clients, law firms and other counter parties.
• Play a proactive role in solving operational problems in a fast‑changing environment.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree (HBO or equivalent) with 3-5 years of experience in a similar environment.
• Native‑level proficiency in Dutch; fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Strong analytical skills and clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience with legal issues in a transactional setting.
• Knowledge of financial markets products and wholesale banking processes; advantage if familiar with complex front‑to‑back chains.
• Flexible team player who stays focused when priorities shift.
