Portfolio controller

As a Portfolio Controller, you and the team are responsible for the accurate delivery, validation, consolidation, and reporting of financial data from the various entities within the portfolio.

In practice, this means working with a wide range of entities, data sheets, and financial flows, where you help bring everything together accurately and consistently into clear group-level reports. An affinity with data is therefore considered a strong advantage.

• Coordinating the monthly consolidation of financial data from international entities;
• Supporting the preparation of periodic management reports at portfolio level;
• Reviewing and analyzing submitted figures, including balance sheet, general ledger, and P&L developments;
• Identifying and investigating discrepancies in reports and consolidations;
• Supporting regional finance teams during the monthly closing process;
• Contributing to projects related to reporting, process optimization, and system improvements;
• Assisting with the financial onboarding of acquisitions;
• Supporting IFRS-related and consolidation-related matters;
• Performing ad hoc analyses and reporting.

For this position, we are looking for a candidate who has already taken the first steps within finance and is now ready for a substantive next step in their career. You do not need to know everything yet, but it is important that you are analytically strong, able to quickly identify connections, and enjoy diving into figures, reporting, and consolidation issues.

• You hold a completed university degree in a financial field, such as Accountacy or Accounting & Control;
• You have approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within accounting or controlling;
• You have an affinity with consolidation, reporting, and financial systems;
• You have a basic understanding of IFRS or are motivated to further develop your knowledge in this area;
• You work accurately, in a structured manner, and possess strong analytical skills;
• You communicate easily with various stakeholders and are comfortable asking questions;
• You have a proactive mindset and are eager to further develop yourself professionally.

TSS Public is part of a rapidly growing international software group and consists of more than 100 companies across 16 countries. The organization is expanding strongly through acquisitions and combines the strength of a large international group with the dynamics of an entrepreneurial environment.

You will join a team of four Portfolio Controllers responsible for the consolidation and reporting of nearly all entities within the portfolio. France is the only region supported by a dedicated local colleague.

In addition, you will work closely with various stakeholders throughout the organization, including the management team, the CEO/CFO of TSS Public, the Corporate Controller of , and international finance teams across different regions. • A salary ranging from approximately €3,000 to €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience;
