THE POSITION  Odyssey Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and service-focused Team Leader Leisure Desk & Groups Planning to lead our centralized Leisure Desk and Groups Planning team, initially with a strong focus on the Amsterdam market. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of leisure group business, from enquiry and contracting through booking administration, invoicing and after-sales support, while also ensuring the smooth planning and execution of room-only group bookings.

Working closely with Sales, Revenue Management, hotel operations and clients, you will drive operational excellence, strengthen processes, maintain high service levels and develop a high-performing team across the Odyssey portfolio.
THE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Leisure Desk Operations   Lead the centralized Leisure Desk supporting the Odyssey Hotel Group portfolio.
Oversee the handling of all reactive leisure group enquiries.
Ensure timely quotation, contracting and conversion of leisure business.
Manage ad-hoc client requests and maintain excellent customer service throughout the booking lifecycle.
Ensure accurate contract administration, booking confirmations and invoicing.
Groups Planning   Lead the centralized planning of room-only group bookings after contract signature.
Coordinate rooming lists, booking changes, allocations and operational handovers.
Ensure all group bookings are processed accurately from contract signature through final invoicing.
Accurate group block forecasting, release policy enforcement, monitor pick and wash trends.
Work closely with hotels to guarantee smooth operational execution.
Operations & Process Excellence   Standardize and continuously improve booking office procedures and workflows.
Monitor workload, productivity and service levels across the team.
Ensure high data quality within PMS, CRM and booking systems.
Identify opportunities to automate and optimize processes.
Commercial Collaboration   Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Management and hotel operations to maximise conversion and guest satisfaction.
Support pricing implementation and commercial initiatives where required.
Provide reporting and insights into booking trends, conversion and operational performance.
People Leadership   Lead, coach and develop the Leisure Desk & Groups Planning team.
Foster a customer-focused and collaborative culture.
Manage recruitment, onboarding and performance development.
Ensure knowledge sharing and consistent ways of working across the team
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
5+ years of experience in Groups, Reservations, Leisure Sales or Booking Office operations within hospitality.
Previous experience leading or supervising operational teams.
Strong understanding of hotel operations and the commercial impact of booking decisions.

Experience with leisure group contracting and group planning processes.
Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus on systems, processes and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.

Experience with hotel PMS, CRS and CRM systems (Opera, Delphi, Salesforce or similar).
