The HR Operations Specialist is a key role within the HR team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective execution of HR processes and total rewards initiatives. This position at Zoho Europe combines strategic thinking with hands‑on operational execution, with a strong focus on enhancing employee experience, total rewards and compensation, maintaining efficient HR systems, and ensuring compliance with company policies across our European workforce.

The HR Operations Specialist will play a critical role throughout the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to off‑boarding—while also driving initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and off‑boarding, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Partner with managers to deliver smooth onboarding and support employee transitions.
  • Maintain HRIS systems, employee records, and employment contracts in line with local compliance requirements.
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and HR‑related financial processes.
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics (e.g. turnover, engagement, time‑to‑hire) to support data‑driven decisions.
  • Manage compensation and benefits administration, acting as a point of contact for employee and provider queries.
  • Review and support total rewards and employee recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and support HR policies and audits.
  • Support DEI initiatives, employee well‑being, and culture‑building activities across the organisation.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations in Europe (EU and UK).
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and able to deal with the day to day ambiguity at work.
  • Ability to speak either Dutch, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or a similar language is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Marketing and HR combined degree and work experience is also acceptable.
