As Expert Team Lead Market Data, you lead a team of 8 specialists across London, Utrecht & New York and are accountable for end‑to‑end market data services. You set the strategic direction, ensure operational excellence, and oversee governance, vendors, and platforms. You enable stakeholders with high‑quality, resilient data services, drive IT infrastructure efficiencies, and improvements, while balancing cost efficiency and cost reductions.

• Optimizing vendor contracts and reducing market data spend through usage analytics.
• Leading incident resolution and improving platform resilience and uptime.
• Aligning front‑office needs with technology strategy and market data capabilities.

40 hours per week.

Team of 8 FTE across London, Utrecht and New York.

Global responsibility for market data services and vendor ecosystem.

• Lead and develop a high-performing international market data team.
• Own market data platforms, vendor strategy, and governance frameworks.

You are a recognised expert in market data, with extensive knowledge of market data platforms, vendors, and licensing models. Combining strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach, you are passionate about delivering high‑quality services and solutions that create measurable value. As an effective leader, you inspire, coach, and develop teams across international and multicultural environments, fostering collaboration and high performance. You build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and are able to influence decisions through your credibility, expertise and collaborative style.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in market data, IT infrastructure, market data distribution and service management.
• Deep knowledge of market data platforms, industry vendors, products and licensing models.
• Proven experience in vendor management, governance and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and developing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
• A structured and resilient mindset with the ability to manage priorities and drive results.
• Knowledge of market data compliance, audit processes, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience leading geographically distributed or international teams.
• Experience managing large‑scale market data transformation or optimisation programmes.
• Familiarity with financial markets, trading environments, and market data consumption across front, middle and back‑office functions.
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments and partnering with global technology teams.
• Professional certifications in service management, project management, or leadership disciplines.
