About the Role
As an Account Manager at Powerfleet, you will play a critical role in managing and expanding relationships with our customers primarily in Netherlands. (selected customers other geographic locations may also be allocated). You will serve as the primary point of contact, helping customers maximize the value of our solutions, drive adoption and product usage, and ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
Your overall objective will be retain and grow the value of existing customer accounts. This role is ideal for a proactive relationship-builder who enjoys working cross-functionally and is motivated to drive long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned customer accounts.
Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth by building strong, trusted relationships.
Understand customers challenges and opportunities and align the Powerfleet portfolio to drive pipeline growth and sales
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand Powerfleet’s footprint.
Conduct regular business reviews with customers to track performance and identify opportunities for additional value.
Understand customer needs and collaborate internally (Sales, Product, Customer Success, Technical Support) to deliver tailored solutions.
Monitor customer account performance, proactively addressing any risks to satisfaction or retention.
Maintain accurate account records in CRM and provide timely reporting on account status.
Provide an accurate revenue forecast.
Identify and mitigate risks that could result in revenue reduction.
Stay current on market trends, customer priorities, and competitor offerings to provide strategic guidance.
Qualifications & Experience
3–5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, sales, or business development in a B2B environment (technology, SaaS, IoT, or fleet management is a plus).
Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts and drive account growth.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills with customers at various levels.
Ability to discover and understand customer needs aligning them into actionable solutions.
Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven account management.
Bachelor's degree level education preferred.
Fluency in Dutch and English required.
Willingness to travel as needed within Netherlands to meet with customers and attend events.
