Reports To: SVP Audit & Compliance Officer

The Junior Auditor will conduct comprehensive internal audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards, and assist the Audit/Compliance Officer to communicate, develop, and execute internal audits.

• Assist and perform internal audits/reviews in certain areas of the bank
• Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings
• Communicate audit findings by preparing final reports
• Create matrices for observations and/or findings to track completion of remediation
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls
• Assist with Regulatory Audits and Exams
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred and/or 2-4 years of audit experience.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and electronic work papers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to work well with all levels of the organization.
• Able to work independently and be able to grasp new concepts quickly, troubleshoot problems, multi-task and prioritize projects.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
