The Deputy Clerk assists the public with property tax records, vehicle title transfers, and registration renewals. You'll be a key point of contact for residents navigating county services.
Responsibilities- Process property tax payments, statements, and exemptions
- Handle vehicle title transfers and registration renewals
- Assist the public at the counter and by phone
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Perform general office duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Prior county or government office experience a plus
