Responsibilities- Lead a team of exempt and non‑exempt employees responsible for shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations supporting various production programs including chemical management.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc.
- Be responsible for meeting direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions, providing performance metrics, and making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Lead a team tasked with supporting all production goals and objectives through accurate tracking, receiving, and shipping with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency.
- Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Train and guide employees in keeping with all company values and leadership characteristics.
- Collaborate with various programs on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation.
- Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of space sector programs.
- Direct team activities associated with program transportation, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified) and specialty movements as they relate to transportability.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management, OR a Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management, OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projects.
- Must have basic knowledge of material planning or production planning and/or equivalent planning experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain special access program (SAP) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
- Current special access program (SAP).
- Master's degree in business administration, supply chain, or a related field.
- Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude.
- Working knowledge of Cost Point/SAP.
Primary level salary range: $95,000.00 – $.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
