The General Facilities Maintenance team ensures Walmart’s facilities operate efficiently and safely through preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and thorough inspections. They collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate resources and budgets, delivering timely, high-quality service. • Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety protocols and certification requirements.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational standards.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Coordinate purchases and control costs by sourcing parts, equipment, and supplies efficiently.
• Lead and develop third-party providers, fostering professional growth and performance evaluations.
• Implement upgrades and improvements to enhance facility sustainability and reduce operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies while promoting a safe and ethical work environment.

• Proven ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Experience managing facility exterior services, including seasonal maintenance such as snow and ice removal.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving customer issues effectively.
• Competence in budgeting, cost control, and sourcing materials and equipment for repairs and upgrades.
• Ability to lead third-party providers and conduct performance evaluations to foster professional growth.
• Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity in all work activities.
