Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide primary, family, and emergency care to refugee and migrant populations in humanitarian settings. The role involves direct patient care, medical histories, and follow‑up under standard operating procedures. This full‑time position includes a 36‑48 hour week with day, night, and weekend shifts and offers competitive pay with additional housing and stipend for traveling.

• Perform direct patient care, including medical histories and documentation.
• Evaluate and treat patients per SOP, providing follow‑up and managing sick calls or walk‑ins.
• Administer emergency and first‑aid treatment within scope of practice.
• Perform limited, minor surgical procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, incision and drainage of simple cysts).
• Review and re‑evaluate cases requiring ongoing medical or pharmaceutical care.
• Carry out orders authorized by the physician supervisor.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records.
• Prescribe and dispense medication applying knowledge of drugs and therapeutics.

• Active state license (any state) required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in primary care, family practice, or emergency medicine setting.
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (NLNAC, CCNE, or U.S. Department of Education recognized).
• Comfortable working with all age groups 0‑99 and experience with communicable diseases.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• No convictions or pending criminal proceedings other than minor traffic violations.
• Automatic Tier 4 security clearance upon start.

$61.50 hourly rate plus $4.57 fringe. Housing and weekly stipend provided for travelers.
