Position SummaryPositions Available: LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) and RN (Registered Nurse)
Shift: Night Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Uvalde Memorial Hospital, Uvalde, TX 78801
- Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to assigned patients during night shift hours
- Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately in medical records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by attending physicians
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond to patient call lights, requests, and emergencies with appropriate urgency
- Follow all hospital protocols, infection control procedures, and safety policies
- Collaborate with day shift nursing staff to ensure seamless continuity of care
For LVN applicants:
- Current, active Texas LVN license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
For RN applicants:
- Current, active Texas RN license in good standing
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
