As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products, communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys. Interact courteously with store staff and customers and manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Holiday support: Provide additional coverage during peak seasonal periods (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). You may be required to work on the actual holiday or during weekends.
- Department resets: Participate in install and reset assignments such as building Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Two‑week prior notice is given for remodel projects that may occur evenings or weekends.
- Team support: Act as part of a network of merchandisers, offering assistance to other team members when needed.
- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.50–$14.50 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
- We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.

- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
- Average weekly hours are between 6–10 hours per week
. - Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also need to kneel, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficiency with a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.
- Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
