Job Description Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on automotive vehicles and heavy machinery. Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes and other components for signs of wear and tear.
- Diagnostic Analysis:
Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems to pinpoint faults and malfunctions. - Repair and Replacement:
Conduct repairs on faulty or damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems. Replace defective components and ensure proper installation. - Welding and Fabrication:
Perform welding and fabrication tasks for repairing metal components. Fabricate new parts or modify existing ones to meet specific requirements. - Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities. Document parts usage, repairs made, and equipment condition. - Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Identify and address potential safety hazards associated with machinery operation and maintenance. - Collaboration:
Coordinate with other maintenance personnel to streamline repair processes. Communicate effectively with supervisors and operators regarding equipment status and maintenance needs.
- Must possess current ASE Certification
- Proven experience as an Automotive/Heavy Machinery Maintenance Mechanic.
- Proficient knowledge of automotive and heavy machinery systems.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to operate heavy equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Stamina and agility to perform tasks in confined spaces
- Must possess current ASE Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in automotive or heavy machinery maintenance is a plus.
- Valid driver's license. Eligibility is determined by our insurance company.
- Employer‑provided housing is available for candidates requiring local accommodations, subject to availability.
- Weekly pay schedule.
- Health insurance available after 60 days of employment.

- Monday – Friday schedule.
