Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 10 hour shifts

Power Labor is actively hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with mini excavator experience for an immediate-start project in Uvalde. This is a great short-term opportunity for operators ready to get to work right away, with steady hours and per diem included.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators to dig trenches for underground electrical systems
- Follow site plans and grade specifications accurately
- Work safely around utilities and active jobsite conditions
- Coordinate with ground crew to ensure efficient trenching operations
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating mini excavators (trenching required)
- Ability to work safely in a construction environment, especially around utilities
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain consistent attendance
- Must be ready to start immediately
