Civils / Street Lighting Operative

Requirement:
Full Clean UK Driving Licence

We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Civils / Street Lighting Operative, working on installation, maintenance, and repair projects across the Greater London area.

You will support our capital and operational teams to deliver high-quality street lighting, electrical, and associated civils works to the highest standards.

Experience &

Skills:

• Proven experience in street lighting or civils operations.
• Skilled in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and street furniture.

Desirable

Qualifications:

• G39 Certification (or equivalent electrical competency)
• NRSWA Certification
• MEWP Certification
• ECS Card
• First Aid Certification (for Appointed Persons)

Other Requirements:

• Full clean UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and procedures

• Installation & Maintenance:
  Install, maintain, and repair street lighting columns, lanterns, and related electrical equipment.
• Electrical Works:
  Terminate, join, and test cables to ensure safety and optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting:
  Identify faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
• Civils Works:
  Assist with minor excavation, groundwork, and reinstatement as part of project delivery.
• Inspections:
  Conduct visual and electrical inspections of street lighting infrastructure and associated works.
• Project Support:
  Provide additional assistance to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
