Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our Student Information Officer role. This temporary contract lasts 3 months (March, April, June) with a 2‑week break for Easter. The job is based in Hillingdon, Greater London, and requires flexibility for out‑of‑hours and Saturday work.
Responsibilities- Organise and deliver engaging activities and school visits to promote the University to potential students and their families.
- Support the scheduling of approximately 200 higher‑education promotional events across the UK, both virtual and in‑person.
- Represent the University, manage prospectus distribution and accommodation bookings.
- Attend open days and applicant days, delivering presentations to prospective students, parents and teachers.
- Assist with campus tours and visitor programmes, providing a warm and informative welcome.
- Become an expert on courses, admissions, UCAS processes and student finance, offering valuable advice to prospective students and their families.
- Use data on applications, offers and enrolments to enhance recruitment activities while keeping accurate records.
- Support Clearing activities on campus and in schools/colleges, ensuring a smooth transition for students.
- Record and oversee the work of Student Ambassadors, ensuring compliance and providing training support.
- Assist in the organisation of STEM activities to promote vital subjects at various educational levels.
- Maintain the UK recruitment web pages and external partnerships to keep information current and engaging.
- Collaborate with the wider Recruitment team to make a significant impact in the community.
- Confident communicator who can engage students, parents and educators.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and passionate about education and student recruitment.
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
- Knowledgeable about higher‑education systems and passionate about promoting offerings.
- Flexible and willing to work outside of regular hours when needed.
- Supportive and lively work environment.
