Special Education Teacher, Middle School

Qualifications:- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience or strong interest in teaching at the middle school level
- Knowledge of inclusion practices and differentiated instruction
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with colleagues
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Co-teach in a 7th grade inclusion classroom alongside a partner teacher
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with IEPs
- Implement targeted interventions and monitor progress
- Support students academic, social, and behavioral growth
- Maintain effective communication with families, staff, and administrators
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
- Uphold all special education compliance standards and documentation
