Special Education Teacher | Uxbridge, Massachusetts

In this contract position, you ll partner with a co-teacher to deliver high-quality instruction and targeted interventions for a dynamic class of 26 students. • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience or strong interest in teaching at the middle school level
• Knowledge of inclusion practices and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with colleagues
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment

• Co-teach in a 7th grade inclusion classroom alongside a partner teacher
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with IEPs
• Implement targeted interventions and monitor progress
• Support students  academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Maintain effective communication with families, staff, and administrators
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
• Uphold all special education compliance standards and documentation
