Special Education Teacher Contract in Uxbridge, MA. 36-week assignment with pay up to $58 per hour based on experience. Opportunity to support 7th grade students in inclusion/co-taught classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and support 7th grade students in an inclusion/co-taught classroom following IEP goals and curriculum standards.

  • Implement tailored instruction strategies to meet diverse student needs, ensuring engagement and progress.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student success.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with district policies.

  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities to promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:
  • MA special education teacher license.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience; experience working with 7th grade students in a school setting.

  • Experience with inclusion/co-taught classrooms preferred.

  • Must be able to work days shift 7:30 AM-2:10 PM.

  • Must pass background checks and comply with school district requirements.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage classroom effectively.
