Special Education Teacher Contract in Uxbridge, MA. 36-week assignment with pay up to $58 per hour based on experience. Opportunity to support 7th grade students in inclusion/co-taught classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:Teach and support 7th grade students in an inclusion/co-taught classroom following IEP goals and curriculum standards.
Implement tailored instruction strategies to meet diverse student needs, ensuring engagement and progress.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student success.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with district policies.
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities to promote a positive learning environment.
MA special education teacher license.
Minimum 1 year of experience; experience working with 7th grade students in a school setting.
Experience with inclusion/co-taught classrooms preferred.
Must be able to work days shift 7:30 AM-2:10 PM.
Must pass background checks and comply with school district requirements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage classroom effectively.
