Position: IT Infrastructure Engineer up to £36,000 per annum, plus car allowance

IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location:

Uxbridge (Head office), travel to other UK sites required.

Salary: up to £36,000 per annum, plus a £4,000 per annum car allowance.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day support of all production platforms to ensure availability, integrity, and confidentiality of core infrastructure elements, including servers, storage, communications and recovery management.
  • Operate secure and highly available computing platforms, servers and networks; install, maintain, upgrade and continuously improve the Apcoa Parking environment.
  • Manage networks, firewalls and troubleshoot advanced network issues.
  • Handle new site installations, upgrades and remote site infrastructure maintenance.
  • Provide high‑level 3rd‑line infrastructure support, proactively plan upgrades and system maintenance within the IT roadmap.
  • Take ownership of user problems, follow up on status and communicate progress in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills

Methodical approach to problem analysis and problem solving, high attention to detail, keen eye for record keeping and documentation, hunger to improve systems and processes.

Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, solid experience with Microsoft, networking, IT hardware, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work well with cross‑functional resources to deliver short‑to‑medium‑term objectives and to set pace for action.

Benefits

Competitive salary of £36,000, £4,000 car allowance, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, standard pension contributions, full training and development, employee discount scheme.

Travel to other APCOA Service offices may be required. Normal working hours: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday; occasional work outside these times, including weekends and bank holidays.
