The Cleaning Grit Blasting Technician involves cleaning, blasting, and chemical stripping of environmentally friendly coatings.

• Prepping components for stripping process
• Follow pre‑established guidelines and instructions to perform job functions
• Use OEM and proprietary design prints to ensure proper outcome
• Fabricate, modify fixtures and maintain department equipment

Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Ability to operate basic machines and equipment and assist with troubleshooting problems with equipment.

Entry level. Experience preferred but not required.

$23-30 per hour.
