The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Uxbridge, MA, responsible for driving wholesale sales of Rhythm of Life Cannabis flower, pre-rolls, and manufactured products to licensed Massachusetts dispensaries and approved accounts. On a day-to-day basis, this role engages current and prospective buyers, presents product offerings, and communicates the unique value and quality of the company's proprietary strains and manufactured lineup.
The Sales Specialist will build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary buyers, manage a sales pipeline, and follow up on leads to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities include conducting in-person product presentations, providing education and training to retail staff, gathering market feedback, and collaborating with cultivation, operations, and marketing teams on promotions and inventory planning. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, staying current with CCC regulations and product knowledge, and representing the brand professionally at industry events and in-store visits.
CompensationThis position offers a base salary of $50,000 annually plus a 2% commission on closed sales.
Qualifications- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident in-person presentations.
- Proven customer service and client relationship-building skills, with a focus on responsiveness and follow-through.
- Demonstrated sales experience, including prospecting, closing, and managing a sales pipeline in a fast-paced environment. Existing dispensary buyer relationships in the Massachusetts wholesale market a strong plus.
- Experience training and educating retail teams or customers on product features, benefits, and responsible use.
- Background in sales or territory management, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and track activities and results.
- Familiarity with the Massachusetts cannabis industry, CCC regulations, and compliance requirements, or strong interest and willingness to learn.
- Comfort working on-site, traveling locally to customer locations, and representing the brand at events as needed.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to lift and carry marketing materials or product samples as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cultivation, operations, and marketing teams while maintaining professionalism and a results-driven focus.
