Job Title: Certified Dental Lab Technician
Location: Vacaville, California
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (6-9 months, with potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Range: $33.25 - $35.25 per hour
We are actively seeking a Certified Dental Lab Technician to join our team at a correctional facility in Vacaville, CA. This is a full-time contract role with the opportunity for temp-to-perm conversion into a state position with full benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Construct, repair, and adjust dental prosthetics (dentures, bite blocks, occlusal stints, etc.) per dentist instructions
- Accurately interpret dental prosthetic prescriptions
- Track, receive, and ship prosthetic cases across CDCR institutions
- Maintain inventory of dental lab supplies and ensure secure storage of hazardous materials
- Implement tool control and safety protocols daily
- Stay up to date with dental prosthetic materials, equipment, and industry practices
- Communicate effectively with dentists and healthcare staff
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 2 years) dental lab experience
- Certification: Valid CDT (Certified Dental Technician) license from the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology
- BLS Certification: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Identification: Valid photo , Drivers License, or Passport required
