Position:
Junior Electrical Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid role. The roles will be onsite once per week and the rest of the time remote. This could change in the near future to more office visits. These positions will be half in Vacaville, CA and half in Rocklin, CA.

* Equipment required: personal cellphone, dual monitors, docking station, mouse, and keyboard.*

• 0-1 years’ experience working with computer or information systems
• 0-1 years of experience supporting testing and troubleshooting on EMS systems, SCADA front ends, communications, and supporting applications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with initiative
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Visio)

• Create, configure, and maintain displays for end users, updating regularly to align with EMS models, user requests, and field conditions
• Manage displays for EMS and Training Simulator applications
• Provide hardware and technology support for end users
• Support backup operations for maintaining Operating diagrams
• Assist EMS Leadership with project requirements, documentation, and implementation
• Coordinate with vendors as directed
• Participate in weekly team calls for planning and issue resolution
• Perform display work and possibly SCADA modeling, troubleshooting communications and controls
• Test and troubleshoot EMS systems, including SCADA models and front-ends
• Implement UI changes for SCADA point-to-point testing
