Electrical Engineer

Overview

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Utilities Electrical Engineer for a prominent client. This position is located in Vacaville, CA
. Pay rate: $48-58/hr
. Duration: 6 months (Possible extension/conversion based on performance and budget).

• Apply Electrical Engineering expertise to utilities and facilities engineering projects.
• Perform detailed design for small to mid-scale projects, including drawing mark-ups, load calculations, coordination studies, short circuit calculations, voltage drop calculations, equipment specifications, adherence to company standards, and applicable codes.
• Review electrical power, security, fire alarm, and instrument and control drawings.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise on utility bottlenecks and solutions for corrective action.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in related role is required.
• Ability to read single-line drawings and ladder logic control drawings is required.
• EIT or PE registration is a plus.
