Senior Electrical Engineer

The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring an "Electrical Engineer III" for a top leading pharmaceutical organization.

• Perform detailed electrical design for small to mid-scale projects, including load calculations, short circuit studies, voltage drop calculations, and equipment specifications.
• Review large project designs for code compliance, constructability, and system compatibility.
• Support installation, inspection, and commissioning of electrical, fire alarm, security, telecom, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and power quality issues in collaboration with Maintenance and JLL teams.
• Manage electrical and facility-related engineering projects from design through implementation.
• Review and approve electrical drawings and change records impacting validated systems.
• Identify and support energy conservation initiatives and utility improvements.
• Provide technical support for SHE permit applications and operational issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, industrial standards, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and ladder logic drawings.
• Experience with project lifecycle activities including design, construction, commissioning, and validation.
• EIT or PE certification preferred.
• Position Type: 6 months contract
• Pay rate approved: $70-75/hr. on W2 depending on experience
