Warehouse Lead – Event Rental Operations

Overview

Funtastic Rentals Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead with prior experience in the event rental industry. This role oversees daily warehouse operations, crew coordination, inventory control, equipment readiness, and job accuracy for large-scale event infrastructure projects across Northern and Southern California.

This position requires operational discipline, leadership under pressure, and familiarity with tents, staging, flooring, AV systems, and event rental logistics.

• Lead and supervise warehouse crew and drivers
• Coordinate pull sheets, load accuracy, and outbound logistics
• Oversee tent, staging, flooring, and AV prep
• Conduct daily production meetings and safety briefings
• Ensure on-time readiness for multi-day and large-scale productions

• Maintain inventory accuracy using Goodshuffle Pro
• Monitor equipment condition, repair, and maintenance schedules
• Control shrinkage, loss prevention, and damage reporting
• Maintain organized racking, labeling, and staging zones

• Enforce OSHA-compliant warehouse practices
• Ensure proper loading procedures and weight distribution
• Oversee forklift operation and box truck loading standards
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free facility

• Coordinate with Event Managers and the Sales team
• Support large installs when required
• Ensure correct deployment of infrastructure systems, including:
  • Frame tents
  • Clear span structures
  • Staging platforms
  • Dance floors
  • LED walls
  • Power distribution

• Minimum 3 years of event rental warehouse experience
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or lead experience
• Knowledge of tent systems and event infrastructure
• Valid driver’s license
• Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification
• Strong organizational discipline

• Experience with Goodshuffle Pro
• CDL license
• Experience with large-scale government or corporate productions
