The Assembler/Production Worker is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces while adhering to specified blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of component parts and perform quality checks on completed items, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound, high-quality custom aluminum windows and doors. Responsibilities- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists.
- Gather parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials to complete assigned tasks.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
- Verify specifications by measuring components.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including wearing department-specific personal protective equipment.
- Properly and safely operate machinery and hand tools.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks to achieve production results.
Required Experience
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be able to read and use a measuring tape
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous production experience in assembly or experience working with hand tools
Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Compensation: Typical starting rate is $21/hour but may be higher based on experience and skill level.

This job operates in a warehouse/production environment with loud machine noises and exposure to hot/cold temperatures depending on season.
