Job Description
Base pay starts at $22.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday-Friday, overtime as designated
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe End of Line Inspector (EOL) is responsible for conducting detailed inspections of fabricated products and in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with company quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements. With a customer-centric mindset, this role takes ownership of product quality and understands the impact inspection accuracy has on customer satisfaction. The EOL works in an interconnected and collaborative manner with production, quality, and leadership teams to identify issues, communicate findings, and support timely resolutions.
This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, promoting a culture of safety, and supporting continuous improvement through attention to detail, data-driven problem solving, and adherence to standard work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Conduct inspections of finished goods, in-process materials, packaged, staged, and loaded shipments in accordance with established quality standards
- Monitor, inspect, document, and report quality findings related to assigned activities and finished goods
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports, audit documentation, and quality control summaries
- Perform product testing using a variety of inspection tools, gauges, and measuring devices
- Complete first article inspections and quality reports
- Inspect incoming raw materials per established inspection plans and maintain receiving inspection records
- Perform start-up and changeover audits to verify product compliance with specifications
- Document, track, and assist in the resolution of nonconforming material and process discrepancies
- Conduct basic root cause analysis and support corrective action initiatives
- Maintain calibration records and verify in-process calibration of inspection tools and equipment
- Support internal and external quality audits as assigned
- Communicate quality issues, trends, and corrective actions with the Quality Manager and relevant stakeholders
- Maintain continuous improvement practices within the work area
- Support department operations by temporarily filling production line roles as needed, consistent with training, qualifications, safety requirements, and applicable wage and hour laws. Temporary assignments do not alter classification unless formally reassigned
- Perform other job-related duties consistent with training, experience, and business needs
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate work-related information in English as required for safety, quality, and job performance

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions

- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Ability to read and use measuring devices such as tape measures, micrometers, and protractors
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, reach, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and lift or move materials. Specific vision abilities include close-up, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. These physical demands are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of the position.

The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, manufacturing equipment, noise, temperature variations, and occasional exposure to hazardous materials. Hearing protection and other personal protective equipment may be required.
