The Assembler/production worker is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces while adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of component parts and quality checking completed items and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound, high-quality custom aluminum windows and doors. This is a great opportunity for individuals that are seeking growth opportunities and skill development.
Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Compensation:
Typical starting rate is $21/hour but may be higher based on your experience and skill level.

- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists.
- Gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials to complete assigned task.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring components.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including wearing department specific personal protection equipment.
- Properly and safely operate machinery and hand tools.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related task to accomplish production results.
- Ability to perform work thoroughly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
- Flexibility. Anticipate and adapt to change without losing focus on goals.

- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs, unassisted.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hand and arm length, kneel, and crouch.

This job operates in a warehouse/production environment; loud machine noises from production machinery, and exposure to hot/cold temperatures depending on season.

QualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Be able to read and use a measuring tape.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous production experience in assembly or experience working with hand tools.
