Production Manager
Job Overview
Position:
Production Supervisor – All Weather Architectural Aluminum – Vacaville, CA. Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year, full time, day shift.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime, weekends, and off shifts may be required.
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments to labor and equipment resources as needed.
- Train, coach, and mentor production staff; address performance issues and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments (Quality Control, Maintenance, Shipping, etc.) to resolve production issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and lead safety meetings.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained to minimize downtime.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of production personnel.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 3+ years supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably in window production. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Computer
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and production management software/ERP systems. Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS system.

- Detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Kaizen, A3, Visual Management Tools, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Computer literacy and willingness to learn new software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requires lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted. Walking and standing for long periods.
Work EnvironmentWarehouse/production environment with exposure to noise, glass, and machinery. Some office tasks may be required.
