Location: 1000 New Horizons Way

Contract: 12+ Months - possibility for extension or FTE conversion
Pay Rate: $25/hr + Benefits
Shift: Day Shift 6AM-3PM PST
Position SummaryThe Logistics Specialist I is responsible for executing material logistics activities within a cGMP-regulated environment. This role supports manufacturing operations through the receiving, sampling, storage, distribution, transfer, weighing, and kitting of materials. The position also performs inventory management, documentation, hazardous material handling and shipping, and maintains compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize business and support systems including SAP, LIMS, PQS, DCS, POMS, and related systems.
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, drum lifters, and drum conditioners.
- Identify process issues and escalate concerns appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
- Complete all required training and certifications and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate professionally with team members and cross-functional partners.
- Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and promptly report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
- Prepare raw materials and components for shipment to manufacturing sites.
- Perform weighing and kitting of direct materials for manufacturing operations.
- Wash and clean equipment and parts using designated cleaning equipment and procedures.
- Manage inventory, ordering, storage, and movement of raw materials and supplies using material handling and RF scanning equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and required documentation.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts to support inventory accuracy goals.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and inspection-ready condition.
- Perform additional material handling duties as assigned.
- Entry-level position requiring 0-4 years of experience
- Experience in GMP/GDP warehouse environments preferred
- English(Required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work within electronic systems.
- Experience working with validated systems preferred.
- Warehouse and inventory management experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, preferred.

- High School Diploma or equivalent(Required Education)
- Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience(Preferred Education)
