Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process. The role involves conducting focused in‑person physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records to complete required documentation for the VA.

• Conduct in‑person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.
• Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings.

• Position:
  Full‑time, 5 days per week.
• Caseload: 3–5 Veterans per day.
• Equipment provided: computer and necessary tools for documentation.
• No treatment or prescribing responsibilities.
• No on‑call duties; predictable schedule.

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Proficient in electronic documentation and web‑based portals.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

• Salary Range: $120,000–$125,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
