Role
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing critical care to high-acuity patients in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor critically ill patients
- Operate advanced life-support equipment
- Administer complex medications
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring
- Document interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Provide patient and family education
- Uphold infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- One year of recent ICU experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred CCRN and additional certifications)
- Must demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, technical proficiency, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
The role involves working in high-pressure environments, maintaining professionalism, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
