Are you calm under pressure, highly detail-oriented, and motivated by meaningful work? Join Inter-Con Security onsite at PG&E as a Control Center Operator and play a critical role in protecting essential infrastructure that serves millions.
This is more than a monitoring role — it’s an opportunity to be at the heart of operations, where your decisions directly support safety, compliance, and operational reliability.
What You’ll Do- Monitor station-specific alarms and security events in real time
- Evaluate and assess alerts using advanced monitoring systems
- Initiate appropriate response actions, including law enforcement coordination when required
- Document incidents thoroughly and accurately in daily activity reports
- Support access control processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with NERC/CIP procedures and background check processes
- Compile data, proofread reports, and support incident investigations
- Collaborate with Line of Business (LOB) partners to resolve security and compliance matters
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Two consecutive weekdays off
- Weekend availability required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay composed in high‑pressure situations
- Competitive pay: $26/hour
