Employment OpportunitySometimes the threat to life, destruction of critical infrastructure or damage to the environment is so severe that a specially trained and equipped security force is needed. When that happens, Inter‑Con turns to its Security Officers. As part of this elite team you will secure some of our most vital assets. You will be trained in enhanced security procedures and be exposed to cutting‑edge technology.
The qualifications are high and the training is rigorous, but if you make it you’ll join one of the most exclusive clubs in the Inter‑Con family. As a Security Officer you are at the tip of the spear when it comes to the advanced security solutions we provide our clients every day.
As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that require an enhanced presence and personal protective services. You’ll be trained by our team of highly qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you are an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter‑Con provides its clients every day.
This position is a non‑union position. The Contractor shall provide a trained Badge and at the main headquarters complex, Oakland General Office (OGO), and any other work site to be designated by PG&E. The Badge and is responsible for using PG&E’s access management system to issue badges and authenticate PG&E employees and authorized visitors. The Badge and may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities at the designated worksite.
The Badge and must remain flexible and able to quickly modify work habits appropriately when changes are implemented.

- Two (2) years of security operation center experience
- Two (2) years of experience working in law enforcement or 911 dispatch
- Three (3) years of experience working in a call center
- Five (5) years of experience working in customer service
- Possess a DD214 (if applicable) with 2 years service minimum in command center or GSOC environment
- Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Homeland Security, Information Technology, or related field
