As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will:

• Monitor station‑specific alarms and events, and assist in day‑to‑day operational needs, including training new operators, maintaining contact lists, trackers, and conducting security equipment checks.
• Use computer software and tools such as security cameras and access systems to assess alarms and determine an appropriate course of action.
• Contact law enforcement or local security teams as needed.
• Document all actions taken in a daily activity report or incident report depending on severity of the event.
• Support staffing within the operation during shifts, either as a floater or to provide additional coverage when openings occur.
• Remain flexible and able to quickly modify work habits appropriately when changes are implemented.

• Minimum of 2 years of security operation center experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in law enforcement or 911 dispatch.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a call center.
• Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.
• Possess a DD214 with at least 2 years service in a command center or GSOC environment.
• Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Homeland Security, Information Technology, or related field.

• Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking in the performance of daily security activities.
• Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as directed.
• Work various shifts and holidays as assigned.
